The librarians are able to come into your classes and lecture students on materials available to specific courses. By highlighting the databases and print resources we provide, students will be able to more easily locate specialized tools for a given topic. We do require some preparation for this though, so please be sure to inform us of what you need from us well in advance,
The library can place almost anything in our print collection on course reserve. This helps make the materials more easily accessible by students during our normal hours of operation. However, since course reserves are kept in the library's offices, students will not have access to them after hours.
The librarians can craft customized libguides to provide bibliographic instruction to students. We can include links to our catalogue for information on relevant books or databases, external links to recommended websites, and uploaded documents. Videos and graphics can also be added for more visual flair. But please have an idea of what you would like us to focus on for your particular course.
